Getting ready for a swim meet is crucial to a swimmer. Especially if it’s a big meet like state or nationals. Its what swimmers do, taper. Which means we still show up to practice, but it is not as intense as it normally is because we need to save our energy for the upcoming meet.

Depending on when the meet is you should be preparing for it. Recovery is most important. You should be getting at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep. Eating the right foods is important too.
